VALLEY VIEW BARRA-COUGARS AGE GROUP SWIM TEAM
JOIN OUR TEAM!
The Barra-Cougar competitive swim team is open to boys and girls ages 5-14 regardless of residency. We have many children who compete with us from other school districts such as Mid Valley, Carbondale, LaSalle and as far away as Honesdale. We welcome children from other schools!
No competitive swimming experience is needed. Under the direction of Head Coach Eric Kopa, our coaching staff offers a guided age group youth program, adapted to meet the needs of the beginning swimmer to the most competitive and skilled swimmer.
We are a member of the Northeast Pennsylvania Age Group Swim League (NEPAGSL). There are swim meets between participating teams during the regular season and a championship meet at the end of February/early March.
The season begins in early October and runs until the first weekend in March. Swim meets start in December and are normally on Sunday (a few may fall on Saturday).
Membership fee is $150 per swimmer,
$130 for a second child
3rd child in a family is free.
We offer a free 2 week trial period for all new members.

6:30-7:30pm at the Valley View High School Pool.
